About the company
Amor Investments & advisory services
We work with family-run and closely-held businesses on the operational and strategic work that matters most: tightening day-to-day operations, preparing for a sale or ownership transition, and building the systems that let a business run well beyond one person's hands-on involvement. Marketing and communications support is available where it's genuinely useful — but the foundation is operational experience, not agency services.
About Bianca
At 13, I started a retail business with my family — by my twenties, I'd helped grow it into a thriving Canadian discount department store chain. I know what it takes to build something like that from the ground up, and I know what it costs. I've lived through the growth years, the hard operational years, and the years where the real question wasn't "how do we grow" but "what do we actually want this to become."
Today, I advise family business owners on the same things I had to figure out myself: tightening operations, preparing for a sale or transition, and building a business that doesn't depend entirely on one or two people to keep running. I'm also writing Time to Go, a book on knowing when to leave a family business — and what comes after.

If you're navigating a transition — preparing to sell, recently bought, or simply trying to professionalize how the business runs — let's talk. I take on a limited number of engagements at a time, so reach out early.
Thank you for being detailed in your responses. I read every inquiry myself, and I only take on a limited number of engagements at a time. The more context you give me, the faster I can tell you if this is a fit.
